Harvest song

Driving via Moravia, on the way to Poland,
I saw enormous crop fields, where deer grazed.
It was harvest time.

The harvesters appeared soon.
The animals fled in panic.
One of them hid right in the path of the machine.
The driver didn’t notice the reel caught something unusual.
After a while he came out to see what had happened.

The deer survived. The driver helped it to get out.
The survived animal took a few steps.
It limped, it weakened, but kept going.
After some time, it lay down in the reaped strips of grain.

Another man came out of a harvester that was passing by.
Slowly, he began to search for the wounded deer.
At the certain moment he spotted his target.
He broke into a run and then jumped.
Then he got the deer and broke its neck.

I saw him carrying the body down the hill.
Disappearing…

PS Driving via Moravia, I felt as at home – like in Polna.
And then there was another vision – Dreaming…
